This is really interesting. I think YouTube do not do enough to protect children from viewing content on the platform that they should not see. Influencers on the platform specifically target young and impressionable audiences to buy the crap that they are paid to promote. Also, there is so much stuff on the platform that is of a sexual nature that kids can see. Yes, they do not allow nudity, but they allow influencers to flaunt their bodies in bikinis and post sexualised content. I think the platform has a long way to go still in terms of being safer for kids.
