I Tried Selling my Used Underwear Online
We are currently living in very strange times. There has been a huge shift in working cultures, with many people now working from home as well as ditching the 9–5 for alternate forms of income. I am always looking at other ways of making money, and I do make a little bit from selling unwanted items on eBay and selling stock photography. However, I came across one article in the news that caught my eye. It was by an anonymous woman that sold her used underwear online. Weird you may think? Well, after doing some further research I found that there was a huge market for it, as well as for used socks, tights, bras, shoes and other things.
I decided to give it a try. I thought it will make a great story and perhaps the added bonus of making a little money from it. I had no idea where to start, I was already familiar with selling used items on e-commerce sites. However, many do not allow you to sell used underwear. For the niche market of people looking for used panties, you have to sell on specialist sites. I did a Google search on “sell used underwear” and several sites came up. I looked at a few and picked the one that looked the most user friendly. Most sites require you to pay a monthly fee to sell on their platform, the site that I chose cost £16 a month and you can list as many items as you want.
